The former Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of Maharashtra came under fire when Union Minister of Textiles, Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, and Food and Public Distribution, Piyush Goyal, claimed on Tuesday that Foxconn-Vedanta decided to locate their upcoming project elsewhere due to the “political instability” in the state.

Before the Assembly elections, Goyal visited Vadodara to meet with “working professionals.” He spoke about how quickly the Narendra Modi administration has been completing promised projects.
Speaking of the MVA government
Speaking of the MVA government in Maharashtra, Goyal said, “Unfortunately, even the bullet train would have been running at full speed now if a party had not misled us in Maharashtra and formed an immoral government. The entire project’s three years were wasted by them. One of the Shiv Sena’s younger leaders is constantly pondering “Why did Foxconn go to Gujarat? “.

Goyal continued, “Gauri has repeatedly blessed the BJP and its leaders to create administrations in the state. It is logical that all firms are moving to Gujarat.” He stated that companies require political stability and dependability to invest. They are aware that Gujarat is free of conflict.
Goyal mentioned a number of government initiatives
Goyal mentioned a number of government initiatives implemented by the PM Modi administration that helped the nation throughout the year 2019 and added, “Imagine if Modiji had not emphasised the Digital India objective before that. What would we have sat in our homes and done?”
Goyal remarked of the Gati Shakti University established in Vadodara, “It is just the beginning of the beautiful trip with Gati Shakti on one hand, the Science City on the other, and a defence establishment going up in Vadodara. Future plans include for Gati Shakti University to become an international institution.

Goyal stated that the establishment of industries instantly creates a whole ecosystem, adding that “everyone will profit,” including MSMEs, component suppliers, accountants, and dhaba owners.
